Chevrolet Orlando MPV Paris debut
Thu, 26 Aug 2010The Chevrolet Orlando MPV (left) seems a bit bland after the concept (right) Chevrolet first penned the idea of the Chevrolet Orlando with a concept in 2008 (which you can see on the right in the picture above). That has now turned in to the production Orlando which will debut at the Paris Motor Show in October, but it does seem to have lost something in the process of going from concept to production. Maserati GranTurismo S automatic gets a Geneva motor show debut
Mon, 23 Feb 2009Last year, Maserati used the Geneva motor show to debut its GranTurismo S with a more powerful 4.7-liter engine. However, at the time it was available only with an upgraded version of the company's manual-based electro-actuated transmission. For the 2009 Geneva show, Maserati will reveal a new ZF automatic gearbox for the 433-hp coupe.
Jaguar XFR-S – tease take 2
Tue, 27 Nov 2012The Jaguar XFR-S – a more powerful version of the XFR – will debut tomorrow at the Los Angeles Auto Show, but we get a second tease first. Jaguar’s punt at making the now ageing XFR credible against the new BMW M5 – the Jaguar XFR-S – is getting its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show tomorrow, but ahead of that full reveal Jaguar is teasing interest with its second teaser photo of the most powerful saloon they’ve ever built. Last week we got a front view of the XFR-S with its more aggressive nose (and Jaguar’s favourite ‘Speedy’ blue paint job) and this week we get to see the thumping great carbon fibre rear wing Jaguar has bolted on the back of the XFR-S.
