This EBay store is owned and operated by BAM Marine of Florida Inc. We are not part of Mercury Marine, but an independent, certified Platinum factory authorized dealer of genuine Mercury Marine products.
Even though the Internet has definitely changed and enhanced our business, unlike some other sellers we have a real brick-and-mortar operation. We have a 15,000 square foot building with an enormous inventory and experienced, certified mechanics. We work on boats, engines and the parts we sell. If you contact us by email a person with real experience who cares about your questions will help you. If you want to come visit and see our facility you are always welcome.
The Mercury & Mercruiser engines and parts we sell on EBay are new and have a factory warranty unless otherwise noted.
We have also managed to accumulate more odds and ends than a person has a reason to own, so almost anything can turn up in our store or one of our auctions.
SHIPPING
There is no charge for local pickup at our warehouse. However we will have to collect Florida sales tax (6%). We do not collect sales tax outside of Florida.
Most of the items we list will be shipped via UPS right to your door and fully insured. For your protection a signature will be required for delivery if the item price is over $50. If using PayPal, please note that we will only ship to a confirmed address. Also regardless of payment method we reserve the right to require additional verification of the shipping address.
We are experienced packers & shippers, so your purchase will arrive promptly and in perfect condition. We are open and ship M-F. Most items will ship the same day payment is received (up to 3PM) unless otherwise noted in the item listing.
Large and heavy Items (generally over 100 pounds) are best shipped by truck to a commercial business address or to the nearest freight terminal where you can pick up your item. Truck shipments to a residence are expensive and can be almost double the amount of a commercial shipment but are possible. Please contact us for a quotation.
Please note – Due to Mercury Marine dealer policies there are some restrictions on the shipping of new Mercury engines. Please contact us with any questions.
Portable outboards (20HP and less, with tiller handle) can be shipped anyplace in the US.
Large outboards (over 20HP) cannot be shipped and must be picked up at our warehouse.
Damaged shipment – In the unlikely case your item was damaged during shipment it is important that you contact us immediately. You must save all the packing material and damaged goods. If you received your item by truck – you MUST note the damage on the bill of lading you sign when your item is delivered or picked up. If there is any damage to the box it is best if you open and inspect it before signing! If you have any questions or doubts call us at 954 545 8681 before signing.
Shipping outside the US - International Buyers
The rates shown are the cost of transport only. In most cases there will be additional fees, taxes or import duties that must be paid at your end before delivery. These amounts are not included in the item price or shipping cost and are the buyer's responsibility.
Please check with your country's customs office and/or UPS to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying. Failure to pay these amounts will result in your purchase being abandoned even though you have paid for it – there are no refunds if this happens!!
PAYMENT
We require payment of all auctions within 4 days unless agreed in advance.
We accept payment by:

Credit card (Visa, MC, Discover, Amex – contact us)
Personal check (10 day holding period after receipt)
Wire transfer
Cashier's check
And last but not least – Cash for items picked up in person!
For items less than $3500 we will normally accept payment by all methods shown above. For purchases over $3500 and international shipments we generally require a wire transfer or cashier’s check.
Even though it does not happen very often we do reserve the right to require payment by wire transfer or cashier's check.
If using PayPal, please note that we ship to a confirmed address only. Also regardless of payment method we reserve the right to require additional verification of the shipping address.
We do not collect sales tax outside of Florida.

Returns
In general we do not accept returns or exchanges unless noted in the listing. We do our best to make sure our listings are completely accurate. However we work hard to maintain our 100% feedback and we want you - our customer to be happy so the following exceptions apply:

· New Mercruiser Sterndrives - full factory 1 year warranty
· New Mercruiser engines - full factory 1 year warranty (Seacore is 3 years)
· New Mercury and MerCruiser parts - full factory 1 year warranty

As we sell a variety of other items in our store and listings the applicable warranties will vary. For these items the language in the listing itself (if any) will govern however most of our miscellaneous items are sold AS IS – which means just that. There is no warranty at all; you are accepting the item as is. Of course we do promise our listing to be accurate. In the case of electronic items even though being sold as is we promise they will not be DOA (dead on arrival) unless otherwise noted.
