AW survey: Honda Element won't be missed
Wed, 15 Dec 2010Is Honda making a mistake by killing the Element SUV after the 2011 model year? AutoWeek readers think not. Our poll shows that 56 percent of voters indicated a readiness to wave good-bye to the “toaster on wheels.” On the other hand, 32 percent found the Element was supremely useful and cool, and 12 percent signaled they didn't know how to transport their dogs anymore in its absence (remember the “dog-friendly” Element?).
Volkswagen Beetle Dune concept edging towards production
Tue, 24 Jun 2014The Volkswagen Beetle Dune frolicking on the beach Back at the Detroit Motor Show in January, the Volkswagen Beetle Dune concept arrived as the perfect accessory for an outdoor lifestyle – especially if you’re in Southern California. Now, with Summer upon us, Volkswagen has released some new photos of the Dune concept frolicking around sunny locations in Germany and pointing firmly towards a production version.
Ferrari F12 TRS: the one-off made for the 2014 Ferrari Cavalcade
Mon, 23 Jun 2014By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 23 June 2014 10:25 This Ferrari F12 TRS is a new one-off Ferrari F12 barchetta shown at the weekend's Ferrari Cavalcade, a parade of 90 prancing horses on the Italian island of Sicily. It just goes to show that for the wealthiest customers, even a £239,000 Ferrari coupe isn't good enough... An anonymous Ferrari owner commissioned the bespoke model, which is based on the F12 Berlinetta and said to be inspired by the 1957 250 Testa Rossa. It's an 'extreme, two-seater, open-top sports barchetta,' says Maranello.
