I thought the solenoid was bad on my 1991 Ford F-150  4 X 4 but the problem turned out to be something altogether different. I left the new, cheap, Duralast in place and then sold the truck a few days later. So now have this used Solenoid in good working order available. Save a few buck and get a genuine OEM solenoid - see feedback! 

My research indicates it will fit on the following trucks: Ford F150 1/2 ton P/U 4WD  > 1991; 6 Cylinders Y 4.9L: 8 Cylinders H 5.8L; 8 Cylinders N 5.0L, Mine was the 4WD 5.0
