THIS LISTING IS FOR ONE SET OF GENUINE HARLEY-DAVIDSON NEW OLD STOCK EARLY IRONHEAD SPORSTER CYLINDER HEADS. I BELIEVE THESE HEADS WENT DIRECTLY FROM HD TO BRANCH FLOWMETRICS IN CALIFORNIA FOR PORTING & POLISHING (POSSIBLY EVEN FOR RACING) BACK IN THE DAY. THESE HEADS CAME TO ME ALUMINUM, AND BLACK-I HAVE SINCE PAINTED THEM TO MATCH IN EXTREME HIGH HEAT SEMI-GLOSS BLACK THAT IS ALMOST IDENTICAL TO THE ONE ORIGINAL. THESE HEADS ARE REALLY SOMETHING SPECIAL IN MY OPINION (THE CHAMBERS ARE EVEN STUFFED WITH 1950'S WISCONSIN NEWSPAPER)-SO GET THEM WHILE YOU CAN! TO BE PERFECTLY CLEAR (SINCE SOME FOLKS THINK "PORTING & POLISHING" ALWAYS MEANS THE INTERIOR WALLS ARE LIKE GLASS) ABOUT THE MACHINE WORK THAT HAS BEEN PERFORMED ON THESE HEADS-PLEASE LOOK AT THE PHOTOS, AS THE WORK IS SPECIFIC IN NATURE IN REGARDS TO LOCATION AND DEPTH ETC.. Chevy was celebrating, in no particular order: the 60th anniversary of its iconic sports car; the rolling unveiling of the new C7 Stingray; the first-ever public peek at the C7R race car; an almost-unprecedented gathering of great Corvette race cars from all eras; and a ginormous gathering of the Corvette faithful tearing around the track in all models of screaming, roaring American muscleVettes, few with silenced exhausts and many emblazoned with all or part of the American flag. Who's Where: Sielaff and Egger take on new roles in 2012
Thu, 22 Dec 2011Both Wolfgang Egger and Stefan Sielaff will take on new roles in the latest move of car designer chess within the Volkswagen Group. Egger takes over the position of Head of Audi Brand Design from Sielaff, who will become Head of Interior Design for the Volkswagen Group as well as Head of the Volkswagen Design Center in Potsdam. Their respective roles will become operational on 1 February 2012.
