DesignBoom has teamed up with Renault to create a unique design competition. With the Renault 4 entering its 50th year, the aim of the competition is to redesign and recreate the classic R4. The free-to-enter competition is open to anyone, not just design students and professionals.

Seat says that the new SUV is already two years into development at the company’s Martorell technical facility in Spain. The as yet unnamed car is likely to share engines and platform with other ‘compact SUVs’ made by parent company, Volkswagen Group, such as the next-gen VW Tiguan and Audi Q3, which will use the MQB modular architecture.

2011 Cadillac CTS coupe is revealed, and a V-Series model is confirmed

Two-door Cadillacs have always had a special place in the hearts of enthusiasts of means, reinforcing the brand as a purveyor of personal luxury and performance. Now comes the latest in the lineage: the 2011 CTS coupe, which will be joined by a high-powered V-Series model. The first official photos of the car in production trim were released on Monday ahead of its showing at the Los Angeles auto show, and the car is the centerpiece for Cadillac's remade product line.
