College Exhibition: Pforzheim University Spring Show 2007

Transportation Design students at Germany's Pforzheim University displayed their work in the school's spring Transportation Design degree show in February, one of the two graduation shows per year. The exhibition included work from graduating Diploma and Masters students, projects by the 5th and 7th semester students, as well as work from students in the earlier stages of the Diploma and Masters courses. Projects by the graduating Diploma students (four year course) included: Structure Driven - A modern automotive sculpture Sebastian Kroes 'Structure Driven' combines a new structural vehicle architecture with a pure driving experience, and presents new solutions for weight-reduction and driving systems.

£2m McLaren P1 GTR for Pebble Beach

McLaren McLaren will show its new P1 GTR – pictured here for the first time in an official teaser shot above – at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance car show next month. The P1 GTR will feature a number of circuit-biased modifications – including a 1,000hp engine – and will cost £1.98 million. Hyundai ix35 – UK details

The Hyundai ix35 will launch at the Frankfurt Motor Show But now we have more Euro details from Hyundai on the ix35 which will officially launch at the Frankfurt Motor Show next week. The new ix35 is longer and wider than the outgoing Tucson but is actually 20mm lower, although headroom is unaffected. As we already know, the ix35 is a pretty close call for the ix-onic concept we saw at Geneva, and features Hyundai’s new hexagonal grill.
