I have sold my VW and therefore I no longer have the need for my VCDS diagnostic cable with a Micro-CAN interface. This item is not a knock-off or an adaptation. I have purchased it new from Ross-Tech last year. It allows the owner to run a full set of diagnostics and reprogram numerous vehicle modules with nothing more than the cable, VCDS software (download newest version on Ross-Tech site), and a laptop computer.
It will work with newer vehicles based on the Golf Mk5+ technology. The full list of vehicles is here Please make sure your vehicle is compatible before buying, as I don't accept returns.
The dongle ownership is transferable, however the tech support is not. It can be purchased from Ross-Tech for $99 as indicated here.

First up is the Mitsubishi Concept GC-PHEV, in the center of the photo, which is meant to preview a next-generation full-size SUV with full-time four-wheel drive.

Subaru WRX Concept: New York Auto Show 2013 – UPDATED + video

Fri, 29 Mar 2013

Subaru has revealed a concept for the next generation WRX at the New York Motor Show this week, but will it make it to the UK? The Subaru WRX is the poster child for the Playstation Generation, but Subaru in the UK seem to have fallen out of love with the idea of a budget supercar, preferring to concentrate on fluffy bunny dreams of hybrids and fresh air from the tailpipe. So there’s a lot of uncertainty if the next generation WRX – previewed this week in New York by the WRX Concept – will make it to the UK when it turns in to a production model.

China's Wanxiang Group won an auction for Fisker Automotive Holdings Inc., the maker of luxury plug-in hybrid cars, with a $149.2 million bid, almost six times what Fisker was seeking when it filed for bankruptcy. Wanxiang topped Hybrid Tech Holdings during the auction, which began on Wednesday and went through 19 rounds of bidding, with an offer that includes $126.2 million in cash and $8 million in assumed liabilities, Fisker said Friday in a statement.
