Ford Motor Company announced key changes to both Volvo Cars and Ford's Americas design operations today. Effective May 1, Peter Horbury, currently Executive Director of Ford Americas Design, will return to Volvo as Vice President of Design, replacing Steve Mattin who, according to Volvo, "elected to leave the company". Insider sources tell us he was forced out.

Eddy Cue has worked for Apple for 23 years and reports directly to company CEO Tim Cook. He serves as senior vice president of Internet and software activities for the Cupertino, Calif., company.

Chrysler offers up to $6,000 in incentives on some cars

If consumers can overcome the connotations that ride shotgun with buying a new car from an automaker in bankruptcy, there are some deals to be had on Chrysler vehicles. The company said Wednesday that it will offer up to $6,000 in incentives on some of its new cars in May in the wake of a 48 percent sales drop in April. The incentives run through June 1.
