Ferrari SP FFX revealed – it’s not a looker

Ferrari Special Operations is the division of Ferrari that relieves very well-heeled punters of vast quantities of cash to create one-off specials – just like Eric Clapton’s Ferrari SP12 EC. But a big bank account doesn’t necessarily equate to great taste, at least not if the only image we have of Ferrari’s latest one-off creation – the Ferrari SP FFX – is anything to go by.
SRT Viper logo redesigned for 2013
Wed, 15 Feb 2012STR – Street and Racing Technology, Chrysler Groups' new, standalone performance brand – has unveiled the new logo for its 2013 Viper as it continues to tease the new version of its now iconic model. Designed by Chrysler designer Vince Galante, STR says that the logo, christened ‘Stryker', conveys the "sinister look and evil grin of the original, while giving it a more playful appearance." Galante also says the lines of Stryker are indicative of those that will feature on the 2013 STR Viper. Stryker will be the third design to grace the Viper series, following Sneaky Pete and Fangs and was selected from a number of suggestions at the 2010 Viper Owners Invitational.
New Opel/Vauxhall Astra saloon revealed – but not for the UK
Wed, 06 Jun 2012The new Astra with a boot has been revealed but it’s not heading for the UK. It will, however, be offered in Germany and Spain. The hatchback has taken over the car world in recent years when it comes to family cars (although we could see the crossover / compact SUV supplant it before long), which has meant the demise of the traditional saloon, certainly in the UK market.
