(See Contents Below). The Gipsy Minor a simplified and lightened development of the Gipsy Engine, was used in the Moth Minor, Short Scion and the Druine Turbi . This Manual is packed with invaluable data and contains many detailed Diagrams & Tables.  Manual printed in July 1939 by the De Havilland Aircraft Company. Also included on the CD is an Adobe Acrobat version of the manual for easy browsing (Adobe Reader 7.0 supplied on the CD). With a hugely impressive 263 entries in total, the judges of the 2012 Car Design News – Opel/Vauxhall Interactive Competition had an unenviable task ahead of them when they gathered at the firm's head quarters in Russelsheim, Germany on Monday 21 May. Their challenge was to shortlist a number of students to progress to the next stage of the competition. The winner will be announced at the 2012 Paris motorshow.

Carl-Peter Forster a candidate to lead Jaguar Land Rover

Jaguar Land Rover is parting company with its chief executive, David Smith, potentially clearing the way for former Opel and BMW boss Carl-Peter Forster to take control. Forster has been linked with a senior role at Jaguar Land Rover for some months. Executives at Indian automaker Tata Motors, which bought the British brands from Ford in 2008, were rumored to have been taking soundings on whether Forster was the right man for job.

The band of British enthusiasts behind the project aim to start production of the rebodied sports car in mid-2007, with prices from £12,000 to £19,000. A deal to buy the rights and tooling jigs for the axed two-seater from parent company DaimlerChrysler is about to be signed, and there will also be a convertible version.
