Gleason brand 9 inch ring and pinion. 3.15 Ratio. Came from Ganassi Nextel Cup team. Lightweight version. The gear is REM treated and in excellent condition. Features EDM option for internal gear pump. Gleason gears are the best gear made. They are the lightest and strongest gears available. This gear is a rare version. The ring gear is made at 8 1/4" OD to save additional horsepower and rotating weight. The turned down version was outlawed in CUP recently and thus this is an opportunity for this rare version gear. In 1984 Chrysler began the development of a mid-engined, rear-wheel drive car using an experimental powertrain. To avoid the costs of creating a whole new chassis, the M4S is based on a modified Huffaker tubular chassis with full roll cage taken from the Pontiac Fiero IMSA race car, only lengthened to a 100-inch wheelbase.
Pothole app gets goverment backing
Tue, 31 Dec 2013A NEW SMARTPHONE APP to report potholes has been given backing by the government. The Department for Transport has given £30,000 to help develop the app, which has been launched by the Cyclists’ Touring Club (CTC). The app is part of the CTC’s ‘Fill That Hole’ pothole reporting website.
Mercedes-Benz hires BMW designer

Karim Habib, the exterior designer of the new BMW 7-series, has been lured to Mercedes-Benz where he will head up the advanced design studio on the outskirts of Stuttgart, Germany. Habib will work under Mercedes-Benz's new design boss, Gorden Wagener.
