This is a GLOBAL NAVIGATION FLIGHT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM made by HONEYWELL (formally TRIMBLE). This was removed from aircraft during a teardown and has been in storage since. It is in AS REMOVED condition without damage to the housing or connector. This unit has not been tested to see if it works. The data plate reads  MFR'S PART #: 81840-00-005F, MODEL #: HT9100. It is not tagged and I have no way to test it so it is being listed AS IS. Thank you for looking. Plenty more auctions to come.

On hearing that Victoria Beckham (aka Posh Spice) had become Range Rover's Creative Design Executive last week, initial reaction was to check the date – was it April 1st? Apparently Land Rover wasn't fooling anybody, instead sending shockwaves through the automotive industry with the announcement, made at the unveiling of the Evoque at Kensington Palace, London. Celebrity brand tie-ups are nothing new – Justin Timberlake is currently the Audi A1's brand ambassador – yet the implication is that Beckham's involvement with Range Rover will go much further.

And now it’s got better. The A4 Technik already gets a well-chose list of upgrades from the regular SE trim, with Milano leather, HDD MMI Nav plus, AMI iPod connection and Audi Parking Plus all part of the package at an extra cost of £1,350 over the SE spec.

Longest ever period of UK new car sales growth

The SMMT (Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders) has released the new car registration data for May 2014, and revealed that the UK new car market is officially experiencing its longest period of growth since records began. Sales in May were up 7.7% compared to 2013 – making it the 27th consecutive month that figures have increased. A grand total of 194,032 new cars registered also represents the most units sold in May since 2004.
