2012 Kia Soul Facelift arrives in the UK Earlier this year, at the New York Motor Show, we reported on what we called the 2011 Facelift for the Kia Soul. But as it’s now October, and the titivated Soul is only just arriving in the UK, we really ought to rename the latest Kia Soul the 2012 Facelift. But whatever year we append to the facelifted Soul, it’s still good to see Kia’s funky little Marmite car get some decent tweaks to move it forward.

Citroen to revive iconic DS badge

Citroen will revive its legendary DS badge for a new range of near-premium models, industry sources said. The French brand will unveil plans for the new DS range on Wednesday, when the carmaker launches a global rebranding campaign. A concept previewing the first DS-badged model, a DS3 small car, will debut at the Geneva motor show in March.

The British motor show will not go ahead in 2012, the organisers confirmed today. The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders dashed hopes that the UK expo could return after the recession put stop to 2010's event - effectively ending over a century of UK motor shows. 'The British International Motor Show has been a tremendously successful showcase for the UK motor industry,' said SMMT chief exec Paul Everitt.
