BMW concept X5 eDrive hybrid to debut at 2013 Frankfurt Show

Called the concept X5 eDrive, the plug-in hybrid SUV will make its world debut at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show next month. It seems as though Frankfurt 2013 is going to be a battle of the luxury hybrids, with the Mercedes-Benz S500 Plug-in Hybrid and the Range Rover hybrid both making their first appearances in Germany, too.

Despite the Top Gear Christmas ‘Three Wise men’ Road trip only airing on the Beeb yesterday – and the whole Top Gear Iraq to Bethlehem episode only being filmed in October – it’s been revealed that the cars that starred in the Christmas Special have already found their way off to the World of Top Gear exhibition at Beaulieu. The whole ‘World of Top Gear’ at Beaulieu is a ‘must-see’ for the proper Top Gear anorak, with everything from a recreation of the Top Gear Studio – including the Cool Wall – to a collection of cars from some of Top Gear’s most ambitious challenges over the years.
Ferrari chief Montezemolo balances growth, exclusivity
Mon, 28 Nov 2011On the morning of the day he celebrated 20 years as head of Ferrari, Luca Cordero di Montezemolo says his first thought was about the future, not the past. He pondered what the world's most famous sports-car maker would look like in 2020. "I have not come up with a comprehensive idea yet," said Montezemolo in an interview at his office in Maranello, 11 miles south of Modena in central Italy.
