Fitment

Almost All 94-02 Chevy/GMC Truck/Van with the Turbo 6.5 Diesel Engine with BLACK PMD

IS IT EASY TO INSTALL THIS HARNESS?  Simply unplug your PMD from the original harness and plug in this harness. Next, relocate this harness to your new location and just plug in your new PMD. Shouldn't take more than 10-15 minutes.

WHY SHOULD I USE A 6 FOOT HARNESS? We have done testing and found that if you locate your PMD anywhere inside the engine compartment it will run hotter than when it's installed on the fuel pump. (stock location) We also installed a PMD that was stalling under the hood and never stalled again when relocated inside the truck.

WHERE IS THE BEST PLATE TO RELOCATE THE PMD? First, outside the engine compartment. As many of our customers does, they install it in the front bumper...on a blue cooler...bolted

Fri, 21 Mar 2014

In late 1984, Oldsmobile management had so much confidence in the potential of its new inline four-cylinder engine Quad 4, that a small team was assigned to the creation of the Aerotech, a research vehicle designed to demonstrate the engine's performance by setting a new world speed record. Ed Welburn, then assistant chief designer, was mostly working on the 1988 Cutlass Supreme but his passion for race cars made him the ideal candidate to be handed the assignment by Oldsmobile 2 studio's chief David North. Inspired by Le Mans racers such as the Porsche 917LH and Jim Hall's Chaparrals, he designed a long, flowing car that immediately seduced design director Chuck Jordan and GM management.
