This is a used front turn signal parking lamp assembly marked that it is for a 1968 Chevelle & El Camino. Please check your own parts listings to be sure. The lens has scratching and some small chips on it's edges. Cast on the lens is GUIDE 13 SAE DP 68. Also cast on the lens is 5959619, which may be it's actual General Motors Corporation part number. The housing has areas of surface rust, but no rust through. Both screws are broken off in the upper mounting points. The wiring harness is complete to connectors. Use as a core to refurbish. The Ecology Center released its fourth consumer guide to toxic chemicals last week, and the news is better. The amount of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in new cars has decreased, but we still have a ways to go. VOCs in plastics and flame retardants have been linked to a variety of acute and long-term health concerns.
