:

for auction a limited slip posi carrier from a 1995 Camaro. it looks to be in good condition.  it has a 2.73 (41:15) gear. the gear also looks ok. it does look like the car had set for a long time. the gear looks a little dull. I found no rust pitting on the gear. I have included the shims from this housing also.  the fluid was clean on this unit and it was not low. the bearings also look fine.

this unit is made for 28 spline axles. it is also abs ready. it has a tone ring on the carrier. if your car does not have abs this unit will still work. the 7.5 and 7 5/8 gears, carriers will interchange. this unit will fit the 1990 and up camaro firebird. the infomation below is from jegs. they list this unit to fit the 1988 and up. i believe it should be 1990 and up. the earlier models had 26 spline axles. to use this unit in the earlier models you would have to get a set of axles from a 1990-1992 Camaro or Firebird. this unit will fit several other vehicles. see the list below.

this carrier is for the 7.5 7.5/8 10 bolt carrier. the 7.5 carrier has two small points  on each side of the bottom of the carrier. the larger 10 bolt is a 8.5. it has a square on the bottom of each side of the housing. this unit will not work in a 8.5 housing

this 7 5/8 carrier will NOT work with 3.23 and lower gears (3.23, 3.42, 3.73, 4.10). it WILL work with a 2.56, 2.73, 3.08

Fewer commuters but longer journeys

Thu, 27 Mar 2014

PEOPLE ARE TRAVELLING further to get to work but the number of commuters is falling as more staff work from home, according to official figures. Based on Census statistics, the average distance travelled to work in England and Wales increased from 8.3 miles (13.4km) in 2001 to 9.32 miles (15km) in 2011. Those living in the Midlands and south west England had the largest increase in average distance travelled between 2001 and 2011 - going an extra 1.36 miles (2.2km).

Morgan Threewheeler (2011) first official pictures

Wed, 03 Nov 2010

Morgan surprised us all today by going back in time and unveiling the new-for-2011 roadster Threewheeler. Morgan started out making three-wheelers and from next year it will do so again; between 1909 and 1953 Morgan manufactured around 30,000 three-wheelers. One even won the French Grand Prix in 1913 and Stirling Moss owned one.  The new Morgan will be fitted with the latest 'Screaming Eagle' 1800cc twin engine from a Harley Davidson married to a five-speed manual transmission from Mazda.
