TV CABLE CORRECTOR FOR THE HOLLEY CARBURETOR

PART SUMMARY
When using Holley carburetors with GM and Ford TV cable-controlled transmissions,
it is common for the TV stud on the carburetor to travel further than the
allowable TV cable travel. The result is that the TV cable is pulled out of adjustment
at full throttle. Sonnax TV cable corrector AS2-02K reconfigures the carburetor
throttle lever to TV cable geometry for correct TV operation and prevents the TV
cable from being pulled out of adjustment. A properly functioning TV system is critical
for transmission line pressure rise and shift timing. A poorly configured or
adjusted TV cable can cause transmission failure. When modifying a vehicle, there
are others factors that will also affect TV geometry. For example, carburetor spacers,
intake manifold type, and TV cable bracket location can cause changes to the
TV cable geometry.
Depending on carburetor throttle lever style, this part may not be compatible with
some early models of Holley carburetors and some versions of the Holley
Dominator.

The 2015 Volkswagen Touareg (pictured) costs from £35k Volkswagen revealed a facelift for its biggest SUV – the VW Touareg – at the Beijing Motor Show in April which got the usual tweaks of titivated front and back and a new set of alloys to make it look fresher. Now, with the 2015 VW Touareg due to go on sale on 27 August, Volkswagen has revealed prices and specs for the new Touareg.

The Volvo V60 Plug-in Hybrid Yes, it’s yet another eco car, this time from Volvo. But as eco cars go the Volvo V60 Plug-in Hybrid does seem to have quite a lot going for it. Volvo confirmed back in 2009 that they would bring a plug-in hybrid to market by 2012, and it looks like they are very much on track as we learn they are planning on taking the V60 Plug-in to Geneva in March in what they say is almost production-ready form.
