DETAILS	THIS INPUT SHAFT IS THE LATE 1987 - ON 1" DIAMETER SHAFT W/ 30 SPLINES AND A SMOOTH PILOT TIP ON THE END TO BE USED WITH THE "298mm" TORQUE CONVERTER. FITS 4.3L, 5.0L, 5.7L ENGINES. MACHINED FROM 300M STEEL THEN HARDENED. THE TCC CHECK BALL & CAPSULE AT THE END OF THE SHAFT IS NOT INCLUDED WITH THIS PART. **THIS SHAFT DOES NOT FIT 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L ENGINES WITH THE "300mm" TYPE TORQUE CONVERTER THIS SONNAX KIT IS USED TO REINFORCE THE ALUMINUM HOUSING OF THE INPUT DRUM AROUND THE INPUT SHAFT AREA TO PREVENT CRACKING AND BREAKAGE UNDER EXTREME USAGE. THIS KIT WILL NOT FIX A DRUM WITH A CRACKED HOUSING!!!** IF YOUR HOUSING IS CRACKED, YOU MUST REPLACE THE DRUM PRIOR TO INSTALLATION OF THIS KIT.
