This booklet contains 120 pages of updated information about the 700R4/4L60 transmissions. Introduction to the 700R4 (4L60) (Updated Handbook), this booklet was updated January, 2004. For step by step instructions on rebuiding your transmission you will need the BLUE COVER Manual. This manual has updated material to add to the rebuild information in the Blue Cover Manual. Since the introduction of the 700R4 transmission, there has been many engineering design changes. These changes have affected nearly every part used in the 700-R4. This "Updated Handbook" will explain each change, the reason for the change, the parts that are affected by the change and any parts interchangeability concerns created by the change. This transmission was last produced in 1993 and this manual will cover all changes up through and including 1993 changes. NOTE: We can ship two manuals in one USPS Flat Rate Envelope to save money. Mon, 29 Aug 2011Peugeot today released photos of the HX1 concept car, which will make its debut at the forthcoming Frankfurt motor show. Measuring in at just under 5m in overall length but standing only 1400mm tall, the long, sleek vehicle is able to seat up to six passengers. Besides being practical, the vehicle is also extremely aerodynamic, returning an impressive 0.28 Cd.
Video: Chevrolet C7 Corvette digital gauges teased
Fri, 30 Nov 2012Chevrolet has released a new teaser video of its new C7 Corvette revealing more interior details and its new digital gauge cluster. With the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette's debut at the Detroit auto show rapidly approaching, the carmaker's latest teaser shows a new 200-mph speedometer and an all-digital screen featuring a large, centralized tachometer and information display. The latest teaser comes two weeks after another video showed the new Corvette testing in the wind tunnel, giving us minor glimpses of the C7. Within the first five seconds you can see a profile shot of the covered-up C7 before some flashes of design sketches.
