THIS INPUT SHAFT IS THE LATE 1987 - ON  1" DIAMETER SHAFT W/ 30 SPLINES AND A SMOOTH PILOT TIP ON THE END TO BE USED WITH THE "298mm" TORQUE CONVERTER. FITS 4.3L, 5.0L, 5.7L ENGINES. MACHINED FROM 300M STEEL THEN HARDENED.  THE TCC CHECK BALL & CAPSULE AT THE END OF THE SHAFT IS NOT INCLUDED WITH THIS PART.  ****THIS SHAFT DOES NOT FIT 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L ENGINES WITH THE "300mm" TYPE TORQUE CONVERTER****   THIS SONNAX KIT (77733-51K) IS USED TO REINFORCE THE ALUMINUM HOUSING OF THE INPUT DRUM AROUND THE INPUT SHAFT AREA TO PREVENT CRACKING AND BREAKAGE UNDER EXTREME USAGE. THIS KIT WILL NOT FIX A DRUM WITH A CRACKED HOUSING!!!  IF YOUR HOUSING IS CRACKED, YOU MUST REPLACE THE DRUM PRIOR TO INSTALLATION OF THIS KIT.

THE LATE 4L60E MOLDED RUBBER STYLE FORWARD CLUTCH PISTON IS INCLUDED WITH THIS ITEM.  IT IS NEEDED WHEN INSTALLING THE SONNAX REINFORCEMENT KIT.

TO INSTALL THIS SONNAX UPGRADE KIT, YOU MUST USE THE LATE 1997 - UP MOLDED RUBBER STYLE FORWARD PISTON. THIS SONNAX REINFORCEMENT KIT WILL NOT WORK WITH ORIGINAL OE CAST FORWARD PISTONS THAT USE LIP SEALS OR AFTERMARKET BILLET FORWARD PISTONS.

NISSAN has unveiled its new ‘black cab’, adapted specifically for London and designed to win business from cabbies looking for a more reliable, more functional and less polluting vehicle. This year, emissions legislation will force many older taxis off the road, and noting the financial struggles of Manganese Bronze, the makers of the traditional black cab, Nissan has seen the opportunity to muscle in on the market. The famous London taxi design has come in for much criticism from cabbies for its unrefined drive, patchy reliability and questionable cabin ergonomics.

F1 photos raise £20,000

A SERIES of photographs taken by Formula One drivers and team members has raised more than £20,000 at a charity auction. The sale included an image taken by Michael Schumacher of a boat on a lake that fetched £2500. An identical amount was paid by Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone for one of his own pictures.
