GM 700R4 TRANSMISSION, SUPER MASTER REBUILD KIT 1982-1984, (74008-ALLO)^ We are offering the following high quality transmission rebuild kit for your GM 700R4 transmission. This kit will work for year models 1982 through 1984. This kit will include the following items in this kit, frictions, steels, overhaul gasket and seals kit, filter, band, pump bushing and the extension housing bushing.
This kit will contain the following quality parts for your transmission. A74119 ... Friction Module, 700R4 1982-1984, (ALLOMATIC Frictions, Made in the USA) 74139 ... Steel Module, 700R4 1982-1984 (Raybestos or Allomatic) 74002C ... Overhaul Kit, 700R4 1982-Up Combo, (Toledo Trans-Kit) A74010 ... Filter, 700R4 (Wide) 1982-91 (SPX or Allomatic) 74020AK ... Band, 700R4/4L60E (2 Tang) 1982-Up, (KEVLAR LINED) 74034 ... Bushing, 700R4/4L60E Pump Body (Babbit) 1982-Up 44066 .... Bushing, 700R4/4L60E Extension Housing (Babbit) 1982-Up This is a basic overhaul kit for your transmission. We suggest changing all the bushing, thrust washers and bearings during your rebuild. There may be a broken hard part in the transmission that was your problem that caused the rebuild. Inspect all the hard parts very closely while you are cleaning the parts. If you are new to rebuilding automatic transmission, remember to soak all friction materials for 30 minutes in transmission fluid before installing.
