Up for auction is a set of four GM Chevrolet 1993 Corvette C4 Fits ZR1 Z51 Factory OEM 17.2"x8.5"F and 17.2"x9.5"R Wheels Silver Sawblade Alloy Rims, 4 Corvette 2 Flag Center Caps, all Lug Nuts (1 lug nut missing), keys and lug nut covers. These 1993 Corvette C4 Factory OEM 17" Wheels Silver Sawblade Alloy Rims, 4 Corvette 2 Flag Center Caps, Lug Nuts, Keys and Lug Nut Covers are all in excellent physical and mechanical condition as you can see in the pics. These Rims are used 21 years and do have cosmetic ware, All four rims do have surface scratches, scuffs, nicks, and a few light touches of curb rash ( about 1" - 3" in length) on two of the rims as you can see in the pics. These 4 GM 1993 Corvette C4 Factory 17" Alloy Rims were replaced with custom rims. In fact, when Peugeot announced prices for the 2008 and their UK target sales of 8,000 a year, we thought they were being conservative with their projections, especially as the 2008 starts at a very reasonable £13k. That soon proved to be right when Peugeot announced it was having to double production of the 2008 as sales were much stronger across Europe than they’d anticipated, and it seems the same is happening in the UK.
UK car sales grow for first time in 15 months

The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, which collates registration figures, claimed that the scrappage scheme was responsible for the jump. Paul Everitt, SMMT chief executive, said: ‘The impact of the scrappage scheme is clear and we are encouraged by the positive impact it has had, increasing new car registrations since April 2008.
Guzzler program still operating; White House searches for funds
Fri, 31 Jul 2009The federal cash-for-guzzlers program continues to operate this morning despite dealer reports that it was to be suspended at midnight last night because it was approaching its $1 billion limit. "It is not suspended," a White House spokeswoman, who asked not to be named, said in an interview today. "We continue to assess the program and its budget." National Automobile Dealers Association spokesman Bailey Wood said Thursday that the group had been told by Transportation Department officials of plans to suspend the program after just six days.
