GM A Body 2 Door Frame

Hardtop or Coupe (Post)

This frame has been modified for use with ladder bar

rear suspension in a Drag Car or Pro Street type application.

The rear frame rails have been moved inward by

approximately 4" on each side to allow the use

of wider rear wheels and tires.

These modifications were done by a professional welder.

The frame has been completely sand blasted and shot with

green primer. The frame is in good usable condition.

This frame will fit any 2 Door Hardtop or Coupe GM A Body from

1968-1972. This would make a great chassis to build and drop your

car body right on top. The 2 rear body mounts have been relocated

outward to fit the factory location.

Obviously, the rear of the body shell

will require modification to be used with this frame.

This frame is from a 1969 Pontiac GTO.

The buyer is responsible for arranging the shipping of this item

as well as paying for all shipping costs.

I would be happy to answer any and all questions about the item.

Please message me with your question. Thanks!

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray: 2013 Detroit Auto Show

Tue, 15 Jan 2013

Chevrolet has debuted the 2014 Corvette Stingray at the Detroit Motor Show, the most powerful – and fuel efficient – Corvette to date. Revealed at the Detroit Auto Show, the new Corvette – which gets the fabled ‘Stingray’ moniker – comes as standard with a 6.2 litre V8 delivering 450 horses and 450lb/ft of torque which translates in to a properly swift 0-60mph of under four seconds, and yet conspires to offer official economy of 26mpg – just not at the same time. But it looks like the new Corvette may be able to go round corners as well as it goes in a straight line, with a new seven-speed manual ‘box with rev matching driving the power to the rear wheels, and a five position Drive Mode Selector that’s said to tailor 12 vehicle attributes to suit intent and environment.

CDN and Opel/Vauxhall Interactive Design Competition Update

Mon, 08 Nov 2010

Seats, relationships, city life, the virtual world and new materials exploration: one month into the Car Design News-Opel/Vauxhall interactive design competition, launched on 11 October, these are a few of the themes student designers are exploring, in answer to the question 'What do you think is our lounge style?'. The competition, a collaboration between Opel-Vauxhall and Car Design News, is an interactive design competition for students who are studying design – of any discipline – at a college in Europe. The winner of the competition will work as a paid intern at Opel/Vauxhall design center in Rüsselsheim.

Ford GT Sells For a Record $11 million at RM's Monterey Auction

Sat, 18 Aug 2012

RM Auctions sold a 1968 Ford GT40 Gulf/Mirage coupe Friday night at its Monterey sale for $11 million, setting a record for the highest price paid for an American car at auction. The Friday sales showed once again a very strong market for cars selling at auction, according to statistics gathered by classic car insurance giant Hagerty. In comparing this year's sales to last year, the total number of cars sold in two days of auctions was down slightly while the total amount generated -- $67.5 million – is far greater, as is the average selling price.
