Please Read: VATS stands for Vehicle Anti-theft System and is also known as PASS-Key (Personal Automotive Security System). Each VATS key has a resistor embedded within the key-blade, and each resistor has 1 of 15 possible values. In order to send you the proper key blank, we need to know what resistor value is required for your VATS system, and this requires that you measure the resistor value in your key or take your vats key to your local GM dealer and ask them to tell you the vats code. After you know the correct vats code, you can message the code through ebay or leave a note with your PayPal payment. Please only send the code after you pay for the key. Based on a Chrysler Grand Voyager the Routan is over five metres long and will use the American car’s engines. In standard form the Routan will be powered by a 3.8-litre 194bhp V6, mated to a six speed automatic ‘box.
Ford Galaxy MPV spied stateside
Tue, 28 Aug 2012Autoweek reader and frequent spy-shot contributor Spencer Abbott sends these photos of what appears to be a Ford Galaxy MPV -- or minivan, as we typically call the vehicles stateside -- testing in metropolitan Detroit. The Galaxy received a facelift in 2010, and that appears to be what we're seeing in these photos. Your guess is as good as ours as to why the vehicle was out and about near Ford's Dearborn, Mich., headquarters.
New Range Rover (2013) wins Top Gear Luxury Car of the Year
Fri, 07 Dec 2012The 2013 Range Rover – Land Rover’s new Flagship SUV – has won its first major award as Top Gear Luxury car of the year. Interestingly, it seems Land Rover are as sceptical as we were about the proclamation by the Sunday Times in October that the 2013 Range Rover was their luxury SUV of the year, despite never even driving it. Not that anyone is doubting the new Range Rover’s right to such a gong, just that it seemed odd to award it to a car that was still too new to judge.
