Bidding on a GM Chevrolet distributor I got with a bunch of parts I acquired. This will probably fit a host of chevy powered cars, so please do the research as I do not know too much about these parts (I’m a Pontiac guy). The part number for reference is 1103282 8E18  (Will have other part numbers listed as well). This is good for a core / rebuild, as the shaft spins freely. I will have a bunch of these listed so win more than one and save on shipping. At $12.00 each you can go wrong. I will have a ton of Chevrolet engine parts listed for sale in the next week so keep checking back. Check my other auctions for gauges from this car. Winner to add $13.00 shipping and handling charges. Winner to pay by Paypal or other approved method. Currently parting out a 1977 Trans Am W72 car, a 1979 T/A, and a 1979 10th Anniversary, so e-mail with your needs and I’ll list the parts on ebay. Check my other auctions as I am cleaning out the garage and need to make some room. Good luck to all!!

Land Rover Freelander Black & White back for 2013

Thu, 13 Dec 2012

Land Rover has resurrected the Black & White Limited Edition outing for the 2013 Freelander 2 with extra kit on a Freelander S for a 600 run. Land Rover does like to divvy up a special edition at the end of the year to give car sales a bit of New Year impetus (and, if Land Rover’s recent sales figures are anything to go by, it certainly works), and this year we get the Land Rover Freelander Black & white Edition. Again.

GM axes deal with Peugeot Citroen: how it helps Vauxhall

Sat, 14 Dec 2013

Wolfgang Rattay, Newscom, RTR Strange as it sounds, the sale of GM’s 7% share it only just bought in Peugeot is good news for Vauxhall buyers. The reason is that it is the last stage of GM’s plan to improve the plight of Opel and Vauxhall by getting rid of all the distractions and focusing on improving the cars and the marketing. The Peugeot move has to be seen in the context of GM pulling Chevrolet out of Europe only a few weeks ago.
