The 2011 Ford Mondeo Sport - only 3000 being built We’re almost up to the next plate change in the UK (60 reg out next month) and Ford are getting out the marketing tools to tempt buyers in to showrooms. One of the top foot-fall makers is the Limited Edition, with extra kit for not a lot of extra dosh. Which as we always say is great if you’d have specced the options thrown in anyway.

Holidaymakers Reminded To Make Pre-Easter Tyre Safety Checks

Tue, 15 Apr 2014

AHEAD of the Easter getaway, a leading tyre safety organisation is reminding the UK’s 650,000 caravan and motorhome owners about the importance of ensuring their tyres are in a safe, roadworthy condition before hitting the road. Stuart Jackson, chairman, TyreSafe, said: “For many, Easter is the first time of the year that they will be heading away in their caravan or motorhome. After the winter when they’ve often had little or no use, it’s essential that the vehicle’s tyres are checked thoroughly before use otherwise a number of potential safety hazards could bring an abrupt end a relaxing holiday.” As part of a visual inspection looking for obvious signs of damage such as lumps, bulges or cuts in the tyre, owners should also pay particular attention to signs of ageing.

New Citroen C1 revealed ahead of Geneva debut

Mon, 24 Feb 2014

The new Citroen C1 (pictured) revealed ahead of Geneva debut We’ve had the proper reveal of the new Peugeot 108 and a bit of a teaser photo for the new Toyota Aygo, and this morning we get the trio completed with the reveal of the new Citroen C1 ahead of its Geneva debut. We’d call the new C1 a 2014 model, but for some reason Citroen gave the current C1 an overhaul only a few months ago and made that a 2014 model, so we probably have to refer to this new one as the 2015 Citroen C1. Whatever model year to attach to it though, the new C1 is just a new Aygo or new Peugeot 108 in Citroen clothes and therefore offers much the same as those two cars.
