CARS 2: The Queen & Prince Wheeliam
Sat, 30 Apr 2011Prince Wheeliam - in a Bentley Continental? It’s one of those weekends where Royal stories will abound, so it made a bit of sense – to us at least – to make mention of the Royal and London connections in the upcoming Disney Pixar sequel – CARS 2. Topically – there’s a surprise – we have a Prince Wheeliam, which appears to be Bentley Continental GT-esque (who decided that, we wonder?) and The Queen seems to be a regal Rolls Phantom with a Crown on her roof.
Subaru XV gets another price cut – down by £2300 across the XV range
Mon, 01 Jul 2013The Subaru XV (pictured) gets a price cut of £2,300 across the range Over a year ago, Subaru launched the new XV in the UK with a starting point of £21,995, Which was decent value for an able Crossover/SUV. But by May of 2013, Subaru had decided there was room to play with the XV’s price – or at least on the 1.6 litre petrol version – and they announced a £1300 price drop for the entry-level petrol XV. But now, just six weeks later, Subaru has decided that the weakening Yen has given them more room to manoeuvre on price and have announced they’re cutting prices across the whole XV range by £2300 (which actually means £1,000 off the new price for the 1.6 litre petrol).
Rolls Royce Ghost – Undisguised
Mon, 08 Jun 2009Rolls Royce Ghost virtually undisguised out testing in Germany This spy shot of the new Rolls Royce Ghost was grabbed with the baby RR out testing in Germany, and gives us the best view yet of the new RR4. For the first time we get to see the stainless steel bonnet option the Phantoms get, and get a much clearer feel of it’s presence. Yes, it is clearly a sibling of the Phantom, but it seems better proportioned.
