This is a Glare Proof OEM General Motors Mirror out of dry storage in a wrecking yard that closed down decades ago in dry New Mexico.  It is marked Guide, Glare Proof, Made in USA and GM.   From what I can find on the internet this 10 inch mirror is for many GM cars in that period (actually 10 1/4 inches at the widest part).  I found the exact mirror is being reproduced as a GM authorized unit on a Firebird Parts Company site on the internet.   Please check your application.   The swivel mount on the back is snug like it should be with no damage.   The mirror glass is in great condition with no separation.  The day night function lever works smoothly and positively with no apparent wear.   It is used so it does have some expected very light shop wear scratches and marks, nothing major or that will effect use.  Any shop wear minor imperfections are hard to see in the photos because they are few, very light and the black surfaces make them hard to see so please look closely at the pictures.  I just need to pass this on to someone who can use it so NO RESERVE sold as is.  Buyer pays actual shipping cost with no handling charges and I will combine shipping when possible.  Please email any questions or comments.  Thanks for looking.  Pontiac, Buick, Chevrolet, Oldsmobile, Cadillac.

We have a big soft spot for the wondrous creations of Christian von Koenigsegg, and the latest versions of the Agera and Agera R bring even more to the party than before. We had the chance to get up close with the Koenigsegg Agera at Goodwood this summer (well, Claire did – thanks, Tom) and were enormously impressed at the levels of craftsmanship and quality a minnow of a car maker like Koenigsegg manages to achieve.

Peugeot tease new sports saloon concept for Beijing Motor Show

Lurking under this cover is a new Peugeot Concept for the 2014 Beijing Motor Show Peugeot do good concepts, even if many don’t actually make it in to production. A case in point is the stunning Peugeot Onyx Concept we saw at the Paris Motor Show in 2012, which came with great styling, copper and carbon fibre bodywork, the use of unusual materials like crystal glass and compressed paper and a powertrain that used a 3.7 litre V8 at the back with an electric motor for added green credentials. Peugeot say their latest concept – which will debut at the Beijing Motor Show in April and is teased by the photo above – will use the same sort of innovative materials as the Onyx (which probably means it too will never see production) and preview the future of Peugeot’s styling.

Pirelli unveils 2012 edition of 'artistic' calendar

Tiremaker Pirelli has previewed the 2012 edition of its calendar, known for its regular use of unclothed models in artistic poses and the exclusivity of the list of recipients. Photographer Mario Sorrenti chose the island of Corsica as the location to capture his "swoon" images. This is the first time that Sorrenti has shot the calendar, which has used many famous photographers in the past including Annie Leibovitz, Richard Avedon and Bruce Weber.
