Auction is for an original General Motors Outside Rear View Mirror with the date code "6-DMI-0" which means the glass was produced June of 1970 so if you have a late 1970 or 1971 Pontiac GTO, Chevelle, Olds Cutlass 442, Buick Skylark GS, this would be period correct.  Mirror is in less than perfect shape with 5 pits of size (1 mirror head, 4 on mounting arm).  Mirror is certainly acceptable for a driver but not a 99 point car.  This mirror, #9782390 fits 1969-1972 A(Chevelle, LeMans,  Skylark, Cutlass, El Camino, Monte Carlo) & B body (full-size)GM Cars.

The new Twingo Gordini Renaultsport will go on sale in March 2010 It’s only a couple of weeks since we reported that Renault are going to revive the Renault Gordini badge for a new range of sporty cars, a report that was followed a few days later with a confirmation from Renault, and the news that the Twingo Gordini Renaultsport would be the first to launch. And Renault has now revealed the first of the Gordini cars. The new Twingo Gordini stays faithful to the heritage of the Gordini moniker with a Fench Blue paint job, white stripes and quilted leather.

Car Design News made its annual pilgrimage to Kensington Gore in central London for the opening of the prestigious Transport Design exhibition. Fifteen students graduated from the course this year all of whose work was viewed by a number of RCA alumni including Patrick Le Quément, David Wilkie and Peter Stevens. As with many of the college exhibitions this year, there was a clear emphasis on sustainability and the reinvention of the paradigms of ‘luxury' and ‘sportiness'.
