Whos Where: Peter Schreyer to head Kia Design

Mon, 31 Jul 2006

In what's regarded as a major boost for Korean car maker Kia, it has been confirmed that Peter Schreyer will be moving from Volkswagen AG to lead Kia's global design operation. Schreyer will oversee the design activities of the company's regional design centers in Frankfurt, Los Angeles and Tokyo as well as the Namyang Design Center in Korea. Junction auto-brake for next Volvo XC90

Tue, 22 Jul 2014

THE NEXT Volvo XC90 will be able to brake itself if its driver attempts to pull out in front of an oncoming car, as one of two world-first safety innovations. This auto-brake technology detects whether an approaching car is technically on a collision course and will hit the stoppers to prevent a possible accident. However, there is no mention of an increased risk of rear-end collisions where drivers following the XC90 might also accelerate, not expecting the Volvo to stop suddenly.

Watch 'The Million Dollar Mustang' part one: Shelby GT350 R

Thu, 24 Apr 2014

“The Million Dollar Mustang” is not about how much these great cars go for at auctions in today's heady times, but about what made them worth so much in the first place. Then it starts to narrow its focus more and pretty soon the bulk of the piece is all about the Shelby GT350 R.
