These parts are brand new GM parts bought years ago.The springs are part no. 3911068 with damper, retainers, lock keepers and spring retainers and spring shims if needed.The rockets are with the stamped triangle, hard to see, 1.6 ratio long slot with new balls and retaining nuts. The rockers are the self aligning type and the pics show the rocker arm pocket and the rocker tip that rides on the top of the spring and you can see these areas have never made metat to metal contact. This. Set up was used on '67'-'69 302's, '64-'68 hi po 327's, '69-'70 350 with hi- perf. engine aka LT-1 engine. This assembly came on 10 to 11:1 compression ratio enginesand suited for solid lifter engines. I have all the specs for seat pressure, installed height, coil bind ratios to pass on to the buyer. Again all of this stuff is brand new and you have my personal guarantee that this is old GM over the counter parts. New MINI to be revealed on 18th November – Sir Alec Issigonis’ birthday
Thu, 08 Aug 2013The new MINI will be revealed on 18th November A couple of weeks ago, MINI revealed the MINI Vision Concept at the MINI Design Studios in Munich which previews the new Mk3 MINI, although it wasn’t a physical car, just a projected hologram. But the real new MINI isn’t far from a reveal, and MINI has announced that it will arrive on 18th November, which just happens to be the 107th birthday of the creator of the original Mini – Sir Alec Issigonis. The reveal will take place at the MINI Plant in Oxford with a party in London the same evening to celebrate, and on the 20th November the new MINI will be revealed in public at events in Los Angeles and Tokyo ahead of the Tokyo and Los Angeles Motor Shows.
Call for ban on on vehicle-side advertising
Thu, 08 May 2014ALL ADVERTISING and promotional banners on commercial vehicles should be banned as they are distracting to other drivers and tempt them to use mobile phones while driving. This is the call from Flexed, a car leasing company, which has carried out a survey that shows a quarter (23%) of drivers admit to trying to type a website address into smartphone after seeing an advert on a lorry. A further 10% of drivers admitted they had tried to take a camera phone photo of an advertisement on a commercial vehicle to use later.
Toyota GT86: GRMN Sports FR Platinum Concept revealed (video)
Sat, 12 Jan 2013The latest Toyota GT 86 by Gazoo Racing – the GRMN Sports FR Platinum Concept - has been revealed at the 2013 Tokyo Auto Salon. The most interesting is a GT86 that comes from Gazoo Racing – a part of Toyota – which was teased last week and gets the same sort of power upgrades as the Gazoo GT86 we saw turn up at Le Mans and Goodwood last year – the GRMN Sports FR Concept Platinum. The GRMN Sports FR Concept Platinum gets a new front bumper and headlights with air vents on the bonnet, new back bumper and tail lights and a thumping great wing on the back.
