The rockers are the self aligning type and the pics show the rocker arm pocket and the rocker tip that rides on the top of the spring and you can see these areas have never made metat to metal contact. This. Set up was used on '67'-'69 302's, '64-'68 hi po 327's, '69-'70 350 with hi- perf. engine aka LT-1 engine. This assembly came on 10 to 11:1 compression ratio enginesand suited for solid lifter engines. I have all the specs for seat pressure, installed height, coil bind ratios to pass on to the buyer. Again all of this stuff is brand new and you have my personal guarantee that this is old GM over the counter parts. Jaguar EATS Mercedes ‘Magic Body Control’ Chicken (video)

Tue, 17 Dec 2013

Jaguar EATS Mercedes ‘Magic Body Control’ Chicken Mercedes-Benz recently produced a fun video to demonstrate their Magic Body Control using a bunch of chickens to show how, despite undulations, bumps and potholes, MBC would keep everything in shape. The video of the ‘Magic Body Control Chickens’ was a rare glimpse at German humour (although the humour may well have been an accident) and a great way to demonstrate MBC. But we wonder if Mercedes sense of humour will stay intact with Jaguar’s latest video?

Citroën invites design ideas via Facebook

Wed, 04 Apr 2012

Citroën has launched a Facebook app calling for users to select design features for what it calls a special edition car, the first crowdsourced car in the UK. Rather than the genuinely design-led competitions we've seen recently from Renault (Twizy) and Citroën's own DS3, ‘You Like It, We Make It', offers six configurations such as exterior and interior color scheme, technology options like Bluetooth and SatNav, alloys, and the number of doors the vehicle has. The Citroeën C1 Connexion special edition will be kitted out with the most popular ideas and those participating via the app will be in with a chance of winning the car when it goes on sale later in the year.

Chevrolet Miray (2011) concept first official pictures

Thu, 31 Mar 2011

Chevrolet has unveiled the Miray hybrid speedster concept today at the 2011 Seoul motor show in Korea. Created as a Chevrolet centennial celebration and marking increased globalisation of the Chevrolet brand, the new two-seater Miray concept looks set to be the star of the 2011 Seoul motor show. Why on earth wasn't the Chevrolet Miray at the 2011 Geneva motor show!? Good question. The exciting-looking Miray would certainly have drawn a larger crowd than the Cruze hatchback. But don't forget that GM Korea (formerly Daewoo, and bought by GM in 2001) develops many of Chevrolet's products these days.
