Chevy V8 Engine Draft Vent Tube

Original draft vent tube for Chevy V8 engines that do not use a PCV valve. Tube mounts behind the distributor. Solid with no dents or kinks in the tube. This has been media blasted and painted with a coat of engine gray primer to keep it from rusting. I recommend adding more primer coat and then paint it with the paint of your choice.  You will need the retaining bolt, steel clamp that secures it to the bellhousing (clamp shown in photo #4 NOT included in this auction, for reference purposes only) and seals. Pictures are part of the description. Ask all questions before bidding.

If you need to make a clamp, the material needed is a 1/16th thick piece of steel that is 8 inches long and 7/8ths inch wide. The short arm is 2 inches long. The bolt hole is 3/8ths.

Lamborghini Gallardo: Chinese owner takes umbrage

Wed, 16 Mar 2011

Lamborghini Gallardo destroyed in China by disgruntled owner Maybe China doesn’t have any effective consumer rights laws to protect disgruntled consumers. Or maybe the owner of the Lamborghini Gallardo in China, who organised its destruction on China’s ‘National Consumer Day’ to make a point about Lamborghini’s failure to address his problems, had just reached the end of his tether. But whatever the reason, the sight of an almost new Gallardo being destroyed by a team of boiler-suited, sledgehammer-wielding chaps certainly garnered a crowd.

World's most expensive Alfa Romeo sold at auction

Wed, 18 Sep 2013

The Alfa Romeo that was the brainchild of Mussolini has sold for nearly £6m at auction. The Italian dictator commissioned the Alfa Romeo 8C-35 to conquer Hitler's dominance of pre-war racing. Built in time for the 1935 Italian Grand Prix, the 8C-35 smashed the competition with racing star Tazio Nuvolari at the wheel and confirmed its fate as one of the most successful racing cars ever. At last weekend's Goodwood Revival, the 8C-35's place in the history books was confirmed as it became the most expensive Alfa Romeo ever to sell at auction. Selling for £5,937,500, the Alfa Romeo eclipsed the previous record of £4,245,118, held by a 1933 8C 2300 Monza, sold in 2010.
