Hello, I have an exceptionally clean set of GM original Trico stainless steel windshield wiper arms that I removed from a 1980 Chevy Malibu (these are the original Trico arms that GM used on their 1978 thru 1987 G-body cars and not the lesser quality reproductions such as Anco & Dorman which have smaller springs and thinner retainer clips & rivets).

The springs, retainer clips and rivets are factory strong and work flawlessly. The mounting splines on both arm heads are excellent and there are no cracks in the passenger arm head which is very common.  Nice overall shine as well. The bend you see near the end of the driver side arm is a factory engineered bend--the passenger side arm is straight. Mounting clips are exceptional. Very nice set overall

These arms are correct for and will perfectly fit the following GM  G-body cars:

Buick Regal             1978 - 1987
Chevy El Camino     1978 - 1987
Chevy Malibu           1978 - 1983
Chevy Monte Carlo   1978 - 1988
GMC Caballero         1978 - 1987
Olds Cutlass Supreme 1978 - 1987
Olds Cutlass Calais    1978 - 1984
Olds Cutlass Salon    1985 - 1987
Pontiac Bonneville   1982 - 1986
Pontiac Grand Prix   1978 - 1987

NADA asks U.S. to suspend clunkers program

Thu, 20 Aug 2009

National Automobile Dealers Association officials asked the government to suspend the cash-for-clunkers program because a survey by the group found that the $3 billion fund has been exhausted, NADA Chairman John McEleney said. "We asked them to put a halt to the program--I think we said 'very soon'--but a suspension at midnight tonight would make sense," McEleney said in an interview Wednesday. "Our survey opened the eyes of the Transportation Department." A suspension would allow dealers to submit all pending claims and permit the government to process them so that a precise determination could be made of how much money, if any, is left in the program, he said.
