University Institute of Design presented their work in the annual Degree Show in June, which included work from the Masters programmes in Transportation Design, Advanced Product Design, and Interaction Design along with the final thesis projects from the Bachelor level graduates. Chrysler recalls 200 and Dodge Avenger for fuel-tank valves

Chrysler is recalling 1,934 examples of the 2013 Chrysler 200 and Dodge Avenger sedans, looking for 16 vehicles in particular with damaged fuel-tank-control valves. A routine maintenance operation led the tank supplier to discover it had shipped damaged goods. The damaged valves could cause engine stalling or fuel leakage.

Caterham creator Graham Nearn dies

Britain has lost another of the champions of its specialist sports-car industry, Graham Nearn, who died on Oct. 24 at age 76. Originally a Lotus dealer, Nearn built a highly successful sports-car business around the lightweight two-seat Lotus Seven, which he bought from Lotus founder Colin Chapman in 1973.
