Faurecia Pin-spiration calls for premium pinboards

Faurecia has launched its ‘Faurecia Pin-spiration' contest, with a brand new 64GB iPad up for grabs. Tier supplier Faurecia is using online sharing community Pinterest to host a new competition to create a pinboard named ‘Faurecia Pin-spiration' – categorized under ‘Cars and Motorcycles' – and filled with things that reflect the meaning of ‘premium’ that could also be used in automotive design. Richard Petty's second Spring Fling car show set for Memorial Day weekend

The show is open to all makes and models and is sponsored by the Automotive Lift Institute. This event, which includes a cruise-in on Friday night, is free to the public.

Scuola Polytecnica Milan - Personal Car Project

In summer last year ten students from the Master's course in Transportation Design at the Scuola Polytecnica Milan took part in a project for FIAT. The work developed from a briefing by the FIAT Advanced Design Centre, taking into consideration the dimensional and content restrictions. One of the concepts which stood out was that of Alessandro Battaglia working on the exterior design, and Alberto Burger, who developed the interior design.
