You Are Bidding On:

A GMC-Chevrolet Air Breather Assembly

This is a GMC-Chevrolet Air Breather Assembly that appears to have been lightly used and was pulled out of one of the vehicles listed below. The parts are pretty clean, except for a few bugs, and the original filter does not seem to have been down a lot of dusty roads.

The paperwork that we found in the aftermarket parts box we purchased it in identifies it fitting in the following:

96-99 C/K Pickup V8-5.0L

96-00 Pickup V8-5.7L

96-00 Suburban/Tahoe/Yukon V8-5.7L

99-00 Yukon Denali V8-5.7L

We took photographs of the parts numbers on the pieces to our local Chevrolet Dealers parts department. They verified, without seeing the paperwork, that the parts would fit the above models plus others with smaller engines. They also indicated that some of these have been discontinued and no longer available from the manufacturer. Photos of the parts numbers are included in this listing.

We feel this would be a good purchase for someone that is rebuilding or adding newer parts to one of these vehicles and does not want to have to go or can’t go to a salvage yard to get them.

Real UK car sales ‘have halved’ in November 2008

Tue, 02 Dec 2008

By Tim Pollard Motor Industry 02 December 2008 09:58 The United Kingdom’s car market is in freefall, CAR has learned. Although official registration figures won’t be released until later this week, we can reveal that retail sales slumped by 45% in November 2008. It’s a crucial metric, retail registrations being actual sales to real people – as opposed to bulk-buy fleet deals to businesses (which are also down).

Range Rover 4.4 TDV8 Review & Road Test (2011 MY) part 2

Sat, 04 Dec 2010

Range Rover 4.4 TDV8 - interiors get no better As we said when we reviewed the 3.6 Range Rover recently, you really can’t compare the Range Rover to anything else, and certainly not to any other SUV. Probably the best comparison is with cars like the Bentley Mulsanne or the Rolls Royce Ghost. That might seem a bit daft – after all, they’re huge, luxury saloons, not SUVs – but really, it’s the only valid comparison.

Segway boss killed on Segway

Mon, 27 Sep 2010

The Segway The Segway was going to revolutionise the way we travelled. Unfortunately, it was pretty much illegal in the UK as you’d need a driving license to operate one. Which rather defeated the object as transport for the pedestrian.
