Other info:

Why buy your spare PCM from us?  You will be purchasing a high quality used PCM.  You get free Flash programming with every OBDII GM computer purchased. OBDII type computers have the “chip” imbedded into the PCM and it is not removable.  The calibration file per the application is “Flashed,” or reprogrammed using a software package and a pass through device.  The “chip” is no longer removed for programming.  Proper programming is essential when replacing a PCM whether it is a used PCM or a remanufactured PCM.  A used GM computer will have the software installed that pertains to the original vehicle that it was removed from.  In some cases, GM OBDII type computers will interchange with many different vehicles including those with different engine and transmission configurations.  However, unless the computer is programmed with the correct software it won’t function properly upon installation.  We will flash program the computer purchased from us with your specific VIN number for the latest updated calibrations available for a stock calibration.  This is important to ensure specific vehicle programming and to guarantee flawless performance in your vehicle. At the end of the auction you will need to provide us with your VIN (Vehicle Identification Number).

A 200bhp Aygo?

New Porsche 911 Speedster reportedly in the works

Tue, 12 Nov 2013

When European-car importer Max Hoffman suggested to Porsche that the American audience might like a cheaper, open-top version of the company's 356, Stuttgart responded with the Speedster. And while every Porsche partisan is a special snowflake -- some love road-going racers like the 904, others can't imagine life without a roof-rack-equipped 912, others go gaga for anything with a legit, lift-off Targa top, and some folks just really, really, really love 924s -- the Speedster's the light, lovable kid brother for which any fan of the marque has a measure of affection. Porsche knows it, and as such, they've introduced limited Speedster models of every 911 series since the 3.2 Carrera -- except for the oft-maligned 996 (which is still loved by its proponents, IMS-bearing issues aside).
