This tailgate is from a 1976 GMC pickup. It has applications for many different years. Please check your application before purchasing. This tailgate is sold with good bones. It does have dings, dents and scratches. It has surface rust but no cancer. It has great patina to use as is or rebuild. VW Design Vision GTI gets 500bhp: Worthersee
Wed, 08 May 2013The Design Vision GTI is built to show what a Golf built for racing would look like – and perhaps point to future evolutions of VW’s most successful car – and is built on the same MQB platform as the regular GTI. It’s a bit shorter (15mm) than a regular Golf, a chunk wider (71mm) and a lot lower (57mm) which conspires to make the Design Vision GTI much more aggressive looking than its mainstream sibling. Power comes from a 3.0 litre V6 with two turbos – good for 500bhp and 413lb/ft of torque – which is driven to all four wheels through a DSG ‘box and can scoot to 62mph in a supercar-like 3.9 seconds on its way to 186mph.

It’s our first view inside the DS’s cabin and more details are emerging of Citroen’s strategic move upmarket in 2010. Although still officially a concept car, the DS Inside is virtually a carbon copy of the production DS3, the first of the new models named after the legendary 1950s déesse.

And now comes news of a new high-end 3-Series – the BMW 335iS – which will bridge the gap between the M3 and the 335i. But BMW are only planning on selling the car in North America – at least for now.
