Complete factory workshop manual for early 1960s GMC heavy duty trucks, Models 5500 thru 9000. I bought this manual used a few years ago when I was rebuilding my GMC 702 cubic inch V12 engine. Great book for the rebuild. Book is in good condition with no torn or missing pages, and all pages are clean. Cover has wear, and one section of the back binding is loose, as shown in the last photo. New car sales still accelerating
Thu, 04 Sep 2014NEW CAR SALES raced ahead again last month, according to official figures. A total of 72,163 new vehicles were registered in August 2014 - a 9.4% rise on August 2013 and the 30th consecutive month of growth, the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) said. Last month's figure took the year-to-date total to more than 1.53 million - a 10.1% rise on the total for the first eight months of 2013.
AutoWeek's Keith Crain receives Mercedes Star Driver award

Crain, shown at left with Geoff Day, director of communications at Mercedes-Benz USA, is the sixth recipient of the Star Driver honor. He joins the ranks of Sir Stirling Moss, John Fitch, Jochen Mass, Jesse Alexander and AutoWeek senior contributing editor Denise McCluggage.
Karim Habib to Head Exterior Design at BMW
Tue, 14 Dec 2010It was only a matter of time before we expected a talented designer to fill the position vacated by Anders Warming when he was promoted to the role of Design Director at Mini. News of that new appointment was revealed today and, as of March 2011, Karim Habib will become the new Head of Exteriors at BMW Design. No stranger to BMW Design, Habib comes back to the Munich-based carmaker after a two year absence, during which time he worked for rival German carmaker Mercedes-Benz.
