Lamborghini might jump into four-door fray

Is Lamborghini preparing a four-door-fighter to take on the Porsche Panamera and the Aston Martin Rapide--perhaps along the lines of the Estoque? Maybe. Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann again raised that possibility recently.

No it’s not a bastardised four-door version of a mid-1990s Hyundai coupé, this is the Infiniti M, a rear-drive executive saloon with its sights set firmly on BMW’s new 5-series. Vauxhall has had yet another play with their 1.3 litre diesel and fitted a variable displacement oil pump that delivered pressure to suit the load, had a tweak with the Corsa’s brain and filled low-viscosity oil in the gearbox  The result is in improvement of 7 per cent in economy over the current Corsa.
