Thu, 14 Nov 2013The new Subaru Legacy Concept (pictured) is heading for Los Angeles Auto Show The Subaru Legacy is a more than decent car – and very appealing – but it’s not the most stylish looking car. But that could soon change if the new Subaru Legacy Concept – revealed today ahead of a debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show next week – is anything to go by. The front end is very ‘in yer face’ with a big hexagonal grill and ‘Hawk-Eye’ headlights, with big flared wheel arches hinting at decent power – and four wheel drive – and a character line running upwards along the side from the back of the front wheel arches to the tail.
97% of UK Lexus sold in 2014 will be hybrids
Mon, 09 Dec 2013Speaking during the European launch of the new Lexus GS300h – the new entry-level hybrid in the executive GS range – Lexus UK director, Richard Balshaw, revealed that 97% of all Lexus sold in the UK next year are likely to be hybrids. The GS300h’s deputy chief engineer, Yukihiro Kito, als confirmed to MSN Cars that the return of diesel-powered Lexus vehicles is unlikely to happen any time soon – if at all. Bio-Fuel Skycar to go in to production
Fri, 17 Apr 2009Parajet's Skycar looks set for road-legal production in 2010 [ad#ad-1] Three months ago we brought you news on the plans of London Company Parajet International Ltd to take their Skycar on a trip to Timbuktu. Well, not only was the trip a great success – they arrived in Timbutu on 26th March – but the Skycar is now destined to go in to production next year. Bedfordshire Company Rage Motorsport, best known for producing Buggies, is to partner with Parajet to produce completely road-legal versions of the Skycar, with Rage producing the cars/buggies and Parajet adding the bits to make it fly (which makes sense!).
