Renault to preview future design strategy with Ross Lovegrove
Tue, 19 Mar 2013Renault will unveil a new concept car that will underline its future design direction at next month's Triennale of Milan. The carmaker, which has released a set of teaser images, has worked alongside designer Ross Lovegrove's Lovegrove Studio to explore fresh design languages. Lovegrove is known for his organically inspired designs and this concept will continue that theme, examining nature and its systems to raise "awareness and understanding of those phenomena and their current impact".

Cross-pollination and re-badging between Chrysler and Fiat is going to move on apace in 2011 and this is just the start, with the recently re-fettled Dodge Journey being tweaked and re-badged for Europe as the Fiat Freemont. Sergio Marchionne sees the Journey doing much better in Europe badged as a Fiat, and he’s probably right.

We reported just last week that the One:1 would make its debut at Geneva so, with a month to go before the Geneva Motor Show kicks off, Koenigsegg has decided it’s time to show some of what the One:1 is all about. Based on the Agera, the most dramatic difference between the two is the enormous rear wing on the back, so big it needs support from bars running in to the roof.
