This item was removed from a very low time (1890 hours TTSN) undamaged Cessna 310 I, N42LK, with no corrosion noted. The aircraft was modified by Riley to Turbostream configuration with Lycoming TSIO/LTSIO 540 N2BD as used on Piper PA31 350 Chieftain and Machen Aerostar. It also had all of the Air America long range fuel mods. The aircraft has been sitting inside a hangar for years and the panel and most avionics were removed for upgrade. Unfortunately the numbers did not work out to put this aircraft back in service so I am parting it out. I will also be parting the 680 hours TTSN engines out and offering the props in OH condition. |

Hurricane Sandy cars up for auction in New York
Wed, 24 Apr 2013New York City is auctioning off 535 vehicles abandoned after Hurricane Sandy. More than 100 of those vehicles were sold on Tuesday; the rest will be auctioned May 2 and May 7 at David Maltz & Co. in Central Islip, Long Island.
Toyota and Lexus cars may have problems with stalling engines
Thu, 01 Jul 2010More than a quarter-million Toyota cars sold worldwide--including many Lexus cars--have engines that may suddenly stall while the car is moving, Toyota said on Thursday. So far, Toyota has not recalled the vehicles, which total about 270,000 units. And its announcement in Japan did not say how Toyota discovered the problem.
Wulin Gaowa on GM’s new Chinese Advanced Design Studio
Wed, 28 Dec 2011Following on from our story in September about Wulin Gaowa's appointment to GM Design as Director of its China Advanced Design, the company has released more details about the new studio and an interview with the designer. The company's "future hub for automotive design in Asia" will move into its new home in July 2012. The studio will be located at GM's GMIO and GM China Headquarters in Shanghai.
