The new Desert Warrior 3 is the result: a rally racer powered by a twin-turbo 3.0-litre diesel, tuned to produce between 275-300bhp depending on event restrictions, and a whole host of serious off-roading equipment to transform this from road to race car. Linda Vaughn, best known as the iconic Miss Hurst Golden Shifter, underwent heart surgery on April 28 to clear out blockage in her arteries. Prior to the operation, Vaughn said, "I am tired of feeling 'low speed.' " After surgery, her spirits are equally as high and she is recovering as expected.
