Aston Martin ‘Power Beauty Soul’ European Tour
Sun, 26 Aug 2012Aston Martin are taking the Vanquish, V12 Zagato and V12 Vantage Roadster on a PR tour of European Aston Martin dealers. For a car company with limited technical resources, one platform and two engines, Aston Martin are making a pretty good fist of launching new models. We’ve recently had the launch of the Aston Martin Vanquish – successor to the DBS – with a harder edge and a bigger price tag, the V12 Vantage Roadster with the glorious V12 where it should be – in the front of an open-topped car for aural joy – and the V12 Zagat0, a limited run collaboration with Zagato at three times the price of the donor car.
IAAD exhibition - 'The car that does not exist'
Fri, 18 Jun 2004The work of Transportation Design students at the Institute of Applied Arts and Design - Turin, will be shown in an exhibition covering the study and planning of a concept car for Fiat, and a new sedan for Honda. Titled 'The car that does not exist', the exhibition will open on Monday 28th June at the Automobile Museum of Turin (press 2pm, public 6pm) and runs until 2nd September. In addition to the students projects, the exhibition includes historic vehicles and prototypes from both brands.

Sun, 09 Jun 2013The Toyota Auris Touring Sports has gone in to production We’ve had the debut of the Toyota Auris Sports Touring, we know the specs, and we know how much the Auris Estate will cost. And now Toyota has started production of the first full hybrid estate car in its sector. The first Auris Touring Sports rolled off the production line at Toyota’s Burnaston Plant on Thursday – a white car, predictably – with the Transport Secretary, Patrick McLoughlin, and Toyota’s European CEO, Didier Leroy, on hand to welcome the Touring Sports to European roads.
