Brake Line Kits are constructed from the finest quality hose, consisting
of a PTFE inner and stainless steel overbraid. Replacing OE brake lines
with -03 PTFE hose improves brake feel over factory lines, eliminates
sponginess, and provides shorter stopping distances and consistent
braking in performance applications.
The shorter stopping distances and improved pedal response provide safety features as well as performance advantages. All G-Stop lines go through a nine-point quality assurance testing including the materials tensile strength and 3000 psi pressure ratings. When used with an ABS braking system they virtually eliminate brake pedal �chatter�. Ford reveals ultra-eco Focus EcoBoost
Wed, 21 Aug 2013Ford has revealed Europe’s first petrol-powered five-door family car to dip beneath the 100g/km CO2 mark with the launch of a 99g/km CO2 Focus EcoBoost. The new 100hp 1.0-litre variant will launch next year and, at 67.5mpg, become its most fuel-efficient petrol-engined family car ever. Fisker about to be bought by Volvo’s Chinese owner Geely?
Mon, 18 Feb 2013It’s reported that China’s Geely – which bought Volvo from Ford – is about to take a majority stake in Fisker Automotive. But Fisker has run in to big problems when its battery supplier - A123 Systems – went bust leading to Fisker production grinding to a halt. That has now been resolved with China’s Wanxiang Group buying up A123 Systems and it looks like Fisker is heading East too with Geely set to grab a majority shareholding.
McLaren P1 gets 903bhp
Wed, 20 Feb 2013McLaren has revealed that their new supercar – the McLaren P1 – will deliver 903bhp and have emissions below 200g/km. The McLaren P1 will get 727bhp from its 3.8 litre V8 with an additional 176bhp coming from an electric motor for a combined power delivery of 903bhp, with the V8 contributing 531lb/ft of torque and the electric motor an instant 192lb/ft for a combined torque of 664lb/ft at 4000rpm. The boost from the electric motor is instantly available at the flick of a button on the steering wheel – McLaren call it Instant Power Assist System (IPAS) – which instantly throws more additional power to aid the McLaren’s V8 than a pair of Fiestas can manage.
