Peugeot 308 R Concept stars at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show

Peugeot’s hot new 308 R Concept hatchback has the new mk7 Volkswagen Golf GTI square in its sights here at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The regular 308 hatch is also making its debut, showing quality Peugeot hope will rival the likes of Volkswagen and Audi, but with the rather racy looking 308 R, the French firm is after the performance crown, too. Koenigsegg One:1 to debut at 2014 Geneva Motor Show

The extreme Koenigsegg One:1 (pictured) will debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor SHow At the end of 2012 we exclusively revealed the first details of the Koenigsegg One:1, an extreme take on the Agera R and being built in very small numbers. Then, in September last year, we were able to flesh out what the Koenigsegg One:1 would offer after Koenigsegg revealed more details – and it is impressive. The One:1 will come with 1,400 HP and weigh in at just 1400 KG, and that weight includes all fluids and even the weight of an average driver.

When he talks, Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne conveys high hopes that the Alfa Romeo brand soon will be a huge business success, but actions often speak louder than words. Fiat has massively reduced the size of the 100-year-old sporty brand's stand at the forthcoming Geneva show. In March, Alfa's stand will shrink to 639 square meters from this year's 979 square meters, which was the second-largest display space among Fiat Group's portfolio after the Fiat brand.
