Condition:Used

For your consideration, I have a vintage survivor GoodYear Polyglas E-70-14 tire. Came into this over thirty years ago, as the spare tire in the trunk of a parts Mach 1 I bought. It has been on the road a little while, as there is some minor wear and the side wall found a curb once, but over all, in excellent shape for about 35 years or so. I dismounted this in '85, and it's been indoor stored ever since. Held air well when mounted then, and no weather checking or rot. I kept it back then for using as a spare some day, but won't need it. Great chance for your vintage muscle car. Any?? Please use eBay messaging above.

Ford at CES 2011

Sun, 09 Jan 2011

Ford has been the automotive darling of the Consumer Electronics Show for several years now. On Friday morning, Ford CEO Alan Mulally made a historic third keynote speech, during which he introduced the new Focus Electric and a host of new supporting technologies, which appear to keep Ford near the top of the technological pack. Two aspects of Ford's approach are interesting.

Rolls-Royce debuts Ghost Series II at Geneva motor show

Tue, 04 Mar 2014

The Rolls-Royce Ghost has been with us for five years, and for 2015 the company has treated the sedan to a number of design tweaks inside and out, and has brought the refreshed Series II Ghost to the Geneva Motor Show this week. The changes to the outside are hard to spot at first, and Rolls-Royce readily admits that the revisions that have been made to the exterior are rather subtle. By far the most obvious visual difference, one that will help identify this as a Series II sedan, are the headlights which have been treated to a redesign, and are no longer perfectly rectangular.

Driven: Chevrolet Cruze Hatchback

Wed, 10 Aug 2011

The C-segment is one of the most important sectors of the automotive market, with every mainstream manufacturer having at least one car competing within. From Alfa Romeo's Giulietta through to the Lexus CT200h and Volvo's C30, there really is a car for everyone. So, in a potentially saturated marketplace, what can a Chevrolet hatchback offer above and beyond a nostalgic name and a tenuous link to an American heritage?
